The Lafayette Parish Clerk of Court operates several devices capable of receiving and sending faxes. Only seven however, have published numbers. Mortgage Certificate orders and requests for copies from the Research Department may be received via fax. Certain recordings, civil and, criminal suit matters may also be received via fax though, please be aware that there are statutory requirements for filing documents and suits via fax. Information may be faxed from the Clerk's office to a requesting party however, there is a charge associated for this service. Please - do not use e-mail for any of the above services.
